Ingredients
- 2.2kg (1lb) new potatoes of even size
- 2 tbsp butter or margarine
- 1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed
- 1 small red chilli pepper, chopped
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped cilantro
- Wash the potatoes and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut any larger potatoes to make them all an even size for cooking
- 2. Place the potatoes into a large Zip’n Steam™ bag
- In a mixing bowl, soften the butter with a spoon
- Add the chilli pepper, crushed garlic and cilantro and blend together well
- Spoon the butter mixture into the bag with the potatoes
- Seal well and place bag on a microwave safe plate
- Cook on full power for 8 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked through
- Allow the bag to stand for 1 minute and serve immediately
For a less spicy version, use only half of the chilli pepper |
